The Hon. John N. Hostettler was first elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1995 and was re-elected for six consecutive terms serving in Congress until 2007. Married to his high school sweetheart, Beth, he hails from Blairsville, Indiana and has four children and has most recently celebrated the births of his first few grandchildren.

Upon leaving public office in 2007, he started the publishing company Publius House. In 2008, he wrote his first book 'Nothing for the Nation: Who Got What Out of Iraq' which explores the lead up to U.S. involvement in that war.

In 2010, he started the Constitution Institute which holds numerous seminars all across the state of Indiana teaching about the U.S. Constitution and what must be done to restore constitutional governance in our republic.

In 2015, Hostettler released his newest book to date, 'Ordained and Established', which explores the "framers' vision of the blessing of liberty".

Most recently, the Hon. John N. Hostettler accepted a position as director of the Center for Christian Statesmanship, an outreach of the late Dr. D. James Kennedy's organization Coral Ridge Ministries, a recipient of the 'Christian Statesman of the Year' award himself back in 2004.
